The + for your Holiday Piggy Bank

Recreation can be quite expensive, every family knows this. Assuming that a family with two children visit two recreational institutions a day, they might as well spend more than 100 Euros just for the tickets. Travel expenses are not even included.
MEINECARD EDERSEE PLUS has a value of more than 200 Euros per person and day. And you get it free of charge.

The + in your Holiday Region

YOU GET MEINECARD EDERSEE PLUS already upon your arrival.
In Waldeck and the Edersee region alone, there are the following attractions included:

  • Waldeck lift
  • Edersee Game Park
  • Kellerwald National Park Centre

In addition, the Card is valid from Kassel to the Edersee lake, in Bad Wildungen as well as in Bad Arsolen or Willingen.
NVV bus & train rides (except Interregio, IC and ICE trains) are free of charge in Northern Hesse.

The + for your Freedom

The free use of the public transport for holders of the MEINECARD EDERSEE PLUS opens up new possibilities, in particular for hikers and cyclists. New tours can be explored. You take the bus or train to your destinations and hike or cycle back. The other way around is of course also possible. This way of travelling is environmentally-friendly too.

The + in Adventures

Discover new things and experience your free time actively – with MEINECARD EDERSEE PLUS this pleasure is free of charge. There are many reasons for taking the Etteslberg gondola: to get conveniently into the high-altitude hiking area or to watch the sunset from the mountain. The lagoon swimming centre with saunas and acqua slide park is also included, just like the Kurhessen spa in Kassel, the Arobella swimming centre, the Bad Emstal mineral thermal spa, the Märchenland spa in Breuna, the Heloponte swimming centre in Bad Wildungen and the Weser thermal spa in Bad Karlshafen.

Attractive recreational institutions welcome you: from the game park to the Kellerwald National Park Centre. Climb into new heights, for example on the Tree Top Walk at the Edersee lake or explore the depths of the show mine. Why not try a new sporty challenge? Who knows, maybe climbing up a wall is exactly your thing? You can also race down the summer toboggan run and that’s real fun. In-between you can enjoy a miniature golf or Pit-Pat match with your partner or wander through the corn field maze with your kids. With MEINECARD + you can pick from more than 40 attractions daily.

The + in Culture

MEINECARD EDERSEE PLUS gives you access to more than 10 museums that you can visit as often as you want to. The GrimmHeimat in Northern Hesse offers a surprising variety of culture and museums. There are art galleries, collections of paintings of the old masters, historic castles or show mines and the bizarre Curioseum – there is something for every taste and age. On one of the numerous guided town tours you will be captivated by the timbered houses and their interesting history.
