From the North: A7. Exit: “Stadtmitte”. Continue on the A49 towards Marburg. Exit: “Fritzlar”. Continue towards “Edersee/ Korbach”. Turnoff: Waldeck
From the East: A5. Kirchheimer Dreieck continue on A7. Exit: “Homberg/Efze”. TowardsBad Wildungen and continue towardsw Korbach. Turnoff: Waldeck
From the South: A / Exit: Gießen. Continue towards Marburg. Turn right, past Frankenberg to the Edersee lake. Continue towards Schloss Waldeck.
From the West: A44, exit: “Diemelstadt”. Continue towards Bad Wildungen. Exit: Waldeck, 5km after Sachsenhausen.

By Public Transport

Travel by train and bus to get to our Kellerwald-Edersee nature paradise and convince yourself of the beauty and variety of our National Park.

 

Should you arrive by train, the Kassel Wilhelmshöhe is your first destination. Continue past Bad Wildungen and Korbach to Waldeck by bus. Stop “Eckeweg” with bus 510 or 503. Take advantage of your free public transport rides with NVV with your GästeCard Edersee+. On many routes, hailed shared taxis (AST) complete the bus service.
